This is a black-dyed release button (size L) crafted from solid brass using a lathe.
The L size has a substantial thickness, giving it a strong brass presence. For those with larger hands, it provides a better fit for the shutter button.
The black-dyed finish is achieved through oxidation treatment; the black coating will gradually wear away with use, revealing the underlying brass.
The button's top surface has a gently curved indentation, allowing your finger to naturally rest there. The sides are knurled for easier screwing during installation.
An O-ring is included to secure the button between the button and the camera, preventing loosening and the button from falling off.
*Depending on the camera model, screwing may be difficult. In that case, try screwing it in with a slight push. If it still cannot be installed, please remove the O-ring.
*This product is not a true black, but rather a slightly grayish black. It may appear brighter depending on the lighting conditions; this is due to the finish. Please understand.
*Please note that because each item is hand-dyed by craftsmen, there may be variations in color and other individual differences. Also, there may be some scuff marks from the finishing process, but please understand that this is a result of the finishing work.
